Our workforce are all directly employed by us and trained to exceptionally high standards. All operatives have achieved a minimum of NVQ level 2 road building and many are, or have, progressed beyond this. We have company wide Construction Skills Certification Scheme compliance and Foremen and Supervisors gain NVQ level 3 status when working for us.
Much investment has been made in plant over the last few years and this investment continues. Our very modern, hi-tech paver fleet, in the hands of our highly trained work force, delivers high quality and high capacity output in a safe, organised manner.
To accommodate work load peaks and occasional industry specialisms we have developed a supply chain of companies to add to our delivery. The company, its staff and operatives undergo extensive induction and on-going monitoring to ensure that the high standards we demand of ourselves continue throughout all aspects of our delivery.
The staff at Wainwright Surfacing have the benefit of accumulated industry experience extending back over many decades and we have support systems and staff to ensure the information associated with delivering surfacing schemes and ancillary works is immediately available when required. Working closely with our counterparts in the quarry and at the coating plant gives us great opportunities for innovative, integrated working methods that result in our proven high quality delivery across a wide range of surfacing, civil engineering and ancillary services.
